Description: This course concerns geometry in dimension two. We will discuss the (Euclidean) geometry of the plane. Then we move on to two most notable examples of non-Euclidean geometry: spherical geometry and hyperbolic geometry.
Grading: Weekly Homework (35%) + Midterm 1 (10%) + Midterm 2 (10%) + Midterm 3 (10%) + Final exam (35%).
