Full-Time and Summer Internship Actuarial Assistant Opportunities
at Milliman in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Full-Time Requirements:
* A desire to expand actuarial skills and be committed to obtaining
  Fellowship (FSA)
* Strong analytical, communication (written and oral) and organization skills
* Excellent people skills with the career goal to be an actuarial consultant
* Proficiency in Excel, Access and computer programming (e.g. SAS/SQL)
* A Bachelor or Masters degree majoring in actuarial science, mathematics
  or another major with quantitative course work and an outstanding academic
  record
* Successful completion of two actuarial exams (Will consider candidates
  sitting in September, November, February & May)

Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous actuarial or related internship experience is a plus
* GPA of 3.0 or higher

Milliman is also seeking bright, motivated, undergraduate students for paid
internships beginning in May and lasting throughout the summer of 2009.
Positions may be available in the Health, Employee Benefits, Mortgage and
Property & Casualty disciplines.  Candidates who successfully intern with
Milliman may have an advantage when full-time, permanent positions open.
The internship positions are located in Brookfield, Wisconsin (a suburb of
Milwaukee).

Internship Requirements:
* Sophomore, Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in
  actuarial science, mathematics, or another major with quantitative course
  work and an outstanding academic record
* Superior math aptitude and quantitative ability
* Strong analytical, communication (written and oral) and organizational
  skills
* PC Proficiency in Excel and Access
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
* Successful completion of at least one actuarial exam preferred (Will
  consider candidates sitting in September, November, February & May)
* Knowledge of database/statistical analysis language (SQL/SAS)
* Previous actuarial or related internship experience a plus
* GPA of 3.0 or higher
