Course Requirements and Grading:

Homework problems in textbook will be assigned but not collected or graded.  Answers are in the back of the book.

Two Midterm exams, Tues. Oct. 22 and Tues. Nov 19, in class      25% each
Final Exam, Tues. Dec. 10, 3:30pm - 5:18pm, in our classroom     50%

Unless announced otherwise in class, all exam problems will be taken from the Society of Actuaries course 2 exams, but the numbers will be changed and the answer choices may be changed. These exams AND solutions are available on the website of the Society of Actuaries:
