You should read sections of the book before they are studied in class.
CALCULATORS: A graphing calculator is required (TI 81 -- TI 86 only, or an equivalent). TI 89 or TI 92 are not allowed.
Homework: There will be daily assignments. The solutions will be collected on Friday.
Tests and quizzes:
Every Friday will be a test or a quiz. On quiz you may use any material
in you own handwriting, including class notes and assignment
solutions.
There will be two midterms and one final exams. You may use your
calculator. You may not use your text, notes, or solutions to assignments.
Except for extraordinary reasons, you must take the examinations at the
scheduled times.

TOTAL POINTS POSSIBLE:
Each quiz will be graded out of 50 points.
The lowest grade will be dropped and the
average of the remaining quiz scores will be the total quiz grade.
