You should read sections of the book before they are studied in class.

Homework: There will be daily assignments. Your solutions will not be collected. I encourage you to work with your classmates on the assignments.

Tests and quizzes: Every Friday will be a test or a quiz. On quiz you may use any material in you own handwriting, including class notes and assignment solutions.
There will be three midterms and one final exams. You may use your calculator. You may not use your text, notes, or solutions to assignments. Except for extraordinary reasons, you must take the examinations at the scheduled times.
