Online classes: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 3:00 -- 4:15 PM on ZOOM.
Except of the quiz and exam time you have an option not to be present in zoom meetings during the scheduled lectures. All classes will be recorded, the links will be posted in Carmen. You may watch the lectures at any time convenient to you.

TEXTBOOK: College Algebra by J.Miller, D.Gerken, (MacGraw-Hill), 1-st Edition, ISBN: 978-1259976612. Loose-leaf version with ConnectMath Access Code.
You should read sections of the book before they are studied in class.

Homework will be assigned through Carmen: https://carmen.osu.edu and the online system ConnectMath. You need to have an Access Code and register at ConnectMath.

Tests and quizzes: Every Friday will be a quiz or a midterm exam. There will be three midterms and one final exams. You may use your calculator. You may not use your text, notes, or solutions to assignments. During the quiz and exam time you are supposed to be logged in to both Carmen and Zoom with your camera on. Except for extraordinary reasons, you must take the quizzes and examinations at the scheduled times. The lowest quiz grade will be dropped.

Calculators: A graphing calculator is a required component in this course. It is recommended that you use a TI-83, TI-83 plus, or a TI-84. Note that the TI-89, TI-92, and calculators that use a Computer Algebra System are not permitted.
