Title: Thompson’s group links.

Abstract.
I will start with definition of the Thompson group and give a combinatorial description of its elements.
Then I will explain the Vaughan Jones construction of links from elements of Thompson’s group and demonstrate the Alexander type theorem. After that I introduce a subgroup of the Thompson group corresponding to oriented links.
The last part of my talk will be devoted to the description of the regular isotopy (oriented) links diagrams obtained by my students Rushil Raghavan and Dennis Sweeney.
