GENERAL INFORMATION

The text we use is Falkner’s  Mathematics 3345, Spring Semester 2020.

In the syllabus, each week of the semester has, among its assigned homework, three homework problem numbers marked by asterisks. These are the problems that have to be turned in for credit. On every Wednesday, starting January 15th, I will collect in class the solutions of the three asterisk-marked problems assigned in the preceding week (M-W-F). However, there will be no assignments for the weeks beginning March 9 and April 13, and the assignment for the week of Mar. 2-6 will be collected on Wednesday, March 18 (rather than Mar. 11).

Each of the three problems will be graded with a maximum of ten points. Partial credit will be given wherever appropriate, and errors marked in red.
