The hotel is located 1.5 miles north of the Department of Mathematics. The
door-to-door driving distance is 2.2 miles. For directions to the hotel and

Getting from the Columbus airport to University Plaza Hotel: the hotel has
a shuttle van, in operation from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily (for the last
pickup, you need to call by 9:15 p.m.). Upon arrival at the airport, just call
them at 614-267-7461. The area code, 614, is not to be used in standard local
calls. (One known exception is when your cell phone service is handled locally
by Cingular.)
The hotel says the van will pick you up within 20 minutes. The pickup area
at the airport is the curb on the baggage-claim level.
Another option is a taxi. The fare is about $25 one way.
There will be a shuttle service between the hotel and the department. For
those who choose to drive (or walk), we will soon post hotel-to-department
directions.
To receive the special
rate of $75 per night, identify yourself as a conference participant when
making a reservation, whether or not your lodging expenses are paid by the
conference.
