General Directions

The 27th Ohio State-Denison Math Conference will be held at The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio.
The Ohio State University is located in the city of Columbus, Ohio, whose airport is closest to the university.

Banquet Information

The conference banquet will be held on June 12, at Holiday Inn on Lane Ave. From 6 till 7 PM there is a cash bar available, and from 7 on, till 9 PM the actual dinner. There are three choices: chicken, fish and vegetarian; you will be able to make a selection when you register. The cost (approx.) is $25.

Hotel Information

Participants in the conference will need to make their own hotel reservations. The base hotel for the conference will be Red Roof Inn in Worthington (7480 N. High Street, Columbus, OH 43235; 614-846-3001). Information about some other hotels/motels in Columbus area, with their rates, will be provided later. We encourage participants to make the reservations as soon as possible (mind the deadline for some of the rates!). There will be some limited transportation available for participants who need to go to The Ohio State University from the hotels/motels listed below. We request those participants who will have their own car to help us with some rides. Thanks.

A rented OSU shuttle will provide transportation from the Conference hotel (Red Roof Inn) to the University. Its schedule is the following:

Friday

leaves Red Roof Inn at 11:30 AM
leaves Math Dept at 6:00 PM

Saturday

leaves Red Roof Inn at 7:30 AM
leaves Holiday Inn (banquet location) at 9:30 PM

Sunday

leaves Red Roof Inn at 7:30 AM
leaves Math Dept at 1:00 PM


In addition, participants can use the local public transportation service, COTA. COTA line number 2 connects the University with the North of Columbus; the fare is $1.50-$2.00. You can download the schedule of COTA line "02 North High Street" here; we will have harcopies prepared as well, you can pick them up when you register. WARNING: only buses advertizing "CROSSWOODS" as their end-of-line actually reach the hotel!
