Complex analysis

Announcement (March 18, 2020):

I have modified the syllabus (download below). The relevant bits are:
(a) There are no more quizzes. There are now 8 homeworks total, instead of 9.
(b) New Grading scheme: HW 20% ; Quizzes 5% ; Three mid terms 45% ; Final 30%
(c) The list of topics to be covered has been modified (see page 3 of the syllabus)
Homework/exams submission. This now has to be done on Carmen . You will have to upload your solutions (to homeworks, mid term 3 and final) IN PDF FORMAT on Carmen. For those of you who have access to a tablet, this should be a piece of cake. Otherwise (I am told) there is a free app to convert pictures taken by a smartphone into pdf format.
Mid term 3 and Final. These both will be take home. The date and time when these will be assigned are again on page 3 of the syllabus. Due dates are strict on Carmen.
On Carmen, we are also going to have discussions. I will start a thread, each week, on the topic of the week. If you have questions, please post them on Carmen. I will be monitoring it regularly and try to clarify your doubts.
