About Me

I am a sixth-year PhD student in mathematics. I am interested in homogeneous dynamics and applications to number theory. I am working with Prof. Nimish Shah.

Before coming to OSU, I received B.S. in mathematics in Peking University in July 2013.

Here is my CV.

Publications & Preprints

  1. Pengyu Yang, Rational points on certain homogeneous varieties. Preprint.
  2. Nimish Shah and Pengyu Yang, Expanding translates of shrinking submanifolds in homogeneous spaces and Diophantine approximation. Preprint.
  3. Pengyu Yang, Equidistribution of expanding translates of curves and Diophantine approximation on matrices. Preprint.
