Except of quizes and exams you have an option not to be present in zoom meetings during the scheduled lectures. All lectures will be recorded, the links will be posted in Carmen. You may watch the lectures at any time convenient to you.

TEXTBOOK: (Ximera) Calculus 1 (free accessible through Carmen).

Homework will be assigned through Carmen. I will not collect the assignments. They serve mainly as a source of practicing problems.

Tests and quizzes: Every Friday will be a quiz (last 20 minutes at the end of class) or a midterm exam. There will be three midterms and one final exams. You may not use your text, notes, or solutions to assignments. Except for extraordinary reasons, you must take the quizzes and examinations at the scheduled times. If you are unable to take a quiz/exam on the scheduled time, please let me know immediately (in advance) for a special arrangement. For a quiz/exam you are supposed to login to Zoom with your cameras on and upload you work in Carmen when it is done.

Calculators WILL NOT BE PERMITTED during exams and quizzes.

Drop/Withdrawal Statement.
It is the student’s responsibility to know the deadlines for dropping a course or withdrawing from the University. Term drop & withdrawal deadlines can be found at registrar.osu.edu/registration (click on the current term under “Important Dates” and scroll down to ADD/DROP/WITHDRAW DEADLINES). There are different drop/withdrawal dates for the various shortened sessions and full semester classes. If you receive financial aid, you should always talk with a financial aid specialist prior to adjusting your schedule. If you stop attending a course but do not drop it, you risk receiving a failing grade which could negatively affect your GPA and your financial aid status.
