Accommodations

We have created an on-line registration form that we request you fill out and send it to us (see the above link for Registration. Just click on the"send" button after you are finished filling it out).

The program ends by noon on Saturday, May 16. Our block hotel reservations are for Sunday, May 10 through the night of Friday, May 15. Since there is some other public function the night of Saturday, May 16th the hotels may be unable to let you stay overnight on Saturday. Therefore, it is advisable that you make your travel arrangements so as to leave Columbus in the afternoon of May 16. In the event, you would need to stay that night in Columbus, you have two options: either you can book your own stay at another hotel (please see a list of hotels and motels in the Columbus area in the links below) or if you are an invited speaker, you can mention this in the comment field in the online conference registration form and we will try to book you a room at another hotel for the night of May 16th.

The block reservations at the hotels will expire at the end of March. After that any unreserved rooms will be released to the public. Therfore there is no guarantee that you will obtain a room at the hotels, after this date, especially at the specially discounted rate for the conference. Therefore it is essential that the participants reserve their hotel rooms as soon as possible.

For invited speakers: There are a block of rooms reserved for the conference at the Spring Hill Suites, 1421 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, Ohio, 43212. (See Spring Hill Suites). For reservations mention, The Math Conference on K-theory: price $124 per room. (If you are overseas, we suggest faxing your reservation to the hotel.) This is a special rate available only if you are part of the conference. The hotel is within walking distance from OSU campus and you can easily walk to the Conference rooms. Included in the room rate are a full hot breakfast and free shuttle to campus.

For other participants: We will be able to provide support towards accommodation for a limited number of graduate students and post docs. We have a block of rooms reserved for the conference and workshop at the HolidayInn Express and Suites OSU, 3045 Olentangy River Road, OH, 43202. Please call 614-447-1212 or fax to 614-447-1211 your reservation information and mention you are part of the Math Conference on K-theory in May to receive the special rate. (For Sunday, May10-Thursday May 14, the rate is $108/night and for Friday, May 15, the rate is $148.) These are mostly rooms with two beds so that those who want to share a room can get half the above rate. If you are interested in sharing a room, please mention the name of the other person with whom you may wish to share the room with. Included in the room rate are a full hot breakfast and free shuttle to campus.

You may also take a look at the following more or less complete list of hotels and motels in the general campus area. We have to warn you though, that the rates listed there may or may not be the same as what you may be able to obtain.
