Homework for Algebra

Math 362
Spring 2020
Max Kutler

Homework is due each Friday at the beginning of class.

The reading assignments are meant to complement the lectures, not mirror them completely. You are responsible for all material covered in the reading. Note that the book often uses slightly different notation than we do in class; sorting through this is a worthwhile exercise.

You are not required to typset your homework in LaTeX; however, you are encouraged to give it a try. Overleaf is a free online platform that allows you to produce LaTeX documents without installing anything on your computer.

There are many free online introductions to LaTeX. For instance, here is Overleaf's. You may find that the easiest way to get started is to take an existing document, such as the homework template linked below, and simply play around with editing it.

Homework template: .pdf, .tex, Overleaf (read only)
